The church was started in the year 1983 in the month of June, with only 15 people. The church was occupying a double storey terrace house located at No. 960 Taman Rasah Jaya, Seremban. The church grew from 15 members to 60 members in 2 years. Soon, the congregation out grew the worship place and the church shifted to a shop-lot at Phase 1, Taman Rasah Jaya.

Rev. Christopher Mun is the Senior Pastor of Tabernacle of Worship since returning from Sarawak in 1992. He co-founded the church in 1986 before being sent off to mission work in Sarawak

Both Rev. Christopher Mun and Marianne Chow are happily married with two children, Justina Mun and Jared Mun.
